In keeping with the rich artistic history of the town, the talented people of Stratford welcome all their visitors with a full afternoon of free street entertainment. Sit with a drink at the Dirty Duck and watch the local Tai Chi group perform in the Theatre Gardens; enjoy a cappuccino on Henley Street whilst watching local actors performing; jive along to some of the best Samba bands in the country; relax on the Bancroft Gardens listening to a local folk fiddle group; or watch our exciting visiting artists courtesy of the Pakistani High Commission.

The young people of the town’s Youth Forum are offering their own activities, including a ‘Shakespearian Insults’ experience and an interactive blog at a cafe in the town centre. Why not pop in and add your own blog?

If you have under-fives with you, bring a picnic and share it in the safe walled space that is the Great Garden at Nash’s House. There’ll be lots of free activities there too!
